Oooo! A Stutz Blackhawk
! My brother has a Hot Wheels of one from his childhood that he carefully custom painted in a gold/metallic green color. No idea where it is, but neither of us has ever seen one in person!

It’s.... a lot to take in. Especially in gold.

I actually really like that color on it! Seems sortof fitting? And it’s a bit copper-y?

Hey, before Lexus came in with their “affordable, Japanese luxury” we had to roll in these so people knew we were rich!
So I am told at least.

I like it to o. If you are gonna roll up in a Bearcat, you have to be noticed.

Pontiac Grand Prix-based, if I recall right.
Any interior shots? I know it was at least possible to order a clock for the steering wheel hub, I have seen only one example like that.

I didn’t sadly. I kinda just passed by.

From the rare period where the tastes of older white Italian-American lounge singers and African-American urban pimps completely overlapped.
See also, well, pretty much every big domestic luxury car, except Tesla.

Yet another Indiana automaker. Really should do a piece someday, but research and lazy.

I’ve thought about doing this with the frankly startling amount of failed BC automakers (see below).

Ah ok. I don’t think I’ve ever spotted one in the wild.

I don’t like to linger near peoples prized cars. I treat them like I want mine treated.

GP or a Monte? Or is that same same?
Regardless, Christ that’s ugly...

Any read on the demographic that would buy one of these? I mean, obviously they have money, but age? gender? (Ima assume male) Profession? Because these are fairly specific cars - assume blah handling and - unless they managed to avoid all of the 70's smog controls - not quick, either. At about 1/2 that price they could have gotten a 512BB (If I did the math right).

What happened to the other half of that silver car?

Same same, but I think at certain times the GP might have offered stronger engines and a fancier dash.
70s + neoclassic is seldom a tasteful combination.

Hey it’s not like you were jumping in it. I don’t mind when someone checks out my car, that’s part of parking on a public street. But touching it, that’s a little odd, I can see why someone with a restored car would object.

“a little car making a big difference" yeah like what's the difference between a whole car and half a car?
